Hello,

My dad is a frequent person to this site, and all he talks about is the new viruses and stuff, and all the activex stuff, and sometimes I don't believe him, just because he is my dad and he is all worried about this stuff, and what not. I wanted to post my logs and stuff, too see if this is adequate protection, thanks.

Your father is right.. ActiveX is dangerous! Follow the link in my signature at the bottom of my post for more help.

Even though you log is clean, you should still complete the following advice and post a fresh log here in this thread.

You should update HijackThis, Open HJT–> select Config…–> Misc Tools–> Check for online update.
If your having trouble with the update feature? Delete the version you have and download the newest version here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

Then create a new folder called C:\HijackThis, extract the HijackThis.exe file from the zip file into the new folder and run it from there. This is necessary to ensure your HJT backup file is not accidentally deleted should anything go wrong.

Detailed instructions on how to Move HJT to C:/HJT/HijackThis

Also your first post indicates you may have 2 versions of HijackThis? Please delete the old versions and only keep the newest version.
I ran the new version, here is the log, and thanks for that site, helps to explain what my father trys to, I guess son's just never listen to there fathers, even if i'm 18 :)
