I use and want to keep using, a program whose publishers have stopped buying SSL certificates for it. I can now only access it in 32bits Win10, as an App in a browser - Chrome - and Chrome makes it very difficult to access, with constant warnings about security concerns. I have devised a batchfile which calls a macro, to launch the program at StartUp. It sometimes works, but often it fails to apply the correct keystrokes to the Chrome webpage for progress, so that page just hangs until I complete the process manually. I know there are other macro programs besides Macro Express, in particular there is AutoHotKeys which I already use extensively, but only for entering text strings via hotkeys. I'm wondering if I can make the launch more reliable by using other software.

I have no experience with any of those. But when I looked for Macro Express alternatives, AutoHotKey kept coming up - but of course, you already have that.
