I have been searching for a laptop on the budget spectrum and came across this the Asus P-series. It seems like a decent laptop, but for business professionals. It sports brushed-hairline textures and scratch-resistant coating LCD,  according to Asus. I found that it has good rapport on Amazon (from reading the reviews), but I couldn't find any much talk about it on other forums such as reddit.

Anyway, is there anyone here who's used this laptop? I like its on-paper specs but would love to know how it performs. Does it have any thermal issues or heat issues? Is it possible to upgrade a few things to make it gaming worthy?

Thanks in advance.

Personally I think its ok for the money it costs, i7 processor is good enough if you render, play games, but if it uses the Windows 10 in the same time, there is an issue of its processes running in the background and eating up the hard disk. Thats when it heats but slightly. It has a somewhat poor cable quality but  overall its good laptop.

I haven't tried these and I don't want to generalize, but so far, the three Asus laptops I owned had heating problems. I just resolved it with cooling pads, yet it's still worth mentioning, i think.
