I dont, why dont you just try downloading and installing a legal copy of PhotoShop, than you will have a legit copy malware free.
After you uninstall it, run CKScanner again and post the new log please
more info on the post below
yeah, i got my hands on a legal copy of Cs2, forgot i bought it (disc and all) at a garage sale some time ago
CKScanner 2.5 - Additional Security Risks - These are not necessarily bad

—– EOF —–
thatr's literally the new log now that the torrent is uninstalled
Did you run the Chome CleanUp Tool ?
yes, i did , no programs found,
Is that little box still showing up ? If so lets set Chome back to defaults
Click the Chrome menu [external image: Clipboard01_zps2e55f676.jpg] on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings .
Scroll down to Show advanced settings…
Down on the bottom you will see an option for RESET BROWSER SETTINGS
Click on it and it will set Chome back to defaults
Did this help ??
i did, reactivated the legit google addons like chromecast, and reactivated adblock plus, and adblock super
and the google docs add on
as for the virus, it's still popping up, running JRT and will post a log as soon as it finishes
i bought a little HDMI dongle that says chrome on it a while ago and use it to browse the web on my TV

yeah, it's still around, is this normally a resilliant virus?
I have dealt with this pest before , its not a virus its more of a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program ) On some systems its been removed just running the tools we have run and on others its a nightmare to get rid of
There is nothing to install, just right click on it and Run As Adminstrator
When its finished scanning it will list Browser Add ONs
If if finds anything that you think is bad or any other bogus toolbars
Just high light them and select REMOVE
Close out the program
Reboot your system and test your browsers
After you reboot, if its still there then lets uninstall Chome.
Go to the control panel, click programs and features, locate Google Chrome and uninstall.
Open the Registry Editor by pressing the Windows Key + R type regedit and click OK.
Locate; HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google and delete it by right clicking it and selecting delete.
Look for these and delete them if still present
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome
C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome
Then reboot and reinstall Chome

yep, uninstalled, rebooted, removed it from the registry, and reinstalled chrome, been browsing for a while now and can't seem to get it turn up
I assume it's gone now
