What I had just posted was the ADDITIONS LOGFILE FROM 10:43am THIS MORNING.  HOWEVER IT LOOKED THE SAME AS THE FRST LOG.  SO I RAN THE PROGRAM AGAIN AT 1:38PM AND POSTED IT BELOW:

Tell ya what, your doing fine, my self been at this for over 14 years so things come somewhat natural for me, but as a first time user like yourself it can be quite daunting to say the least, any questions please just stop and ask and I will try to answer them the best I can.

 

 

Your running FRST64 from F drive, our tools and scanners work more efficiently when run from the Desktop in lieu of being buried in some folder, so go to your F driveand look for FRST64, right click on it and select CUT, then come back to your Desktop and right click on a blank space and select PASTE, then we will have FRST64 exactly where we want it to be.

 

Open notepad , Go to Start –> All Programs –> Accessories –> Notepad.
Please copy the entire contents Inside of the code box below beginning with START and ending with END
(To do this highlight the contents of the box, right click on it and select copy. Right-click in the open notepad and select Paste).
Name the file Fixlist, Save it to your desktop where you have FRST/FRST64 or the fix wont work, . Then open up FRST/FRST64 and click on FIX (Not Scan) It won't take long, after your computer reboots you will find a FIXLOG.TXT on your desktop, post it please

Now that I see the two files side-by-side they are the same.  But they both come from the FIXLOG.txt file located on my desktop.  How do I access the FIXLOG file?

Good Morning,

 

When you create a FIXLIST file on your desktop and run  a fix, the FIXLIST file will be gone after the fix and then you will see a FIXLOG on your desktop but somehow your not capturing the entire log because the FIXLOG will contain the fix and then show what was and what was not removed, anyway lets not worry about it

 

How is your system behaving now ?

I have continued to run FRST and continued to get the same items that have been posted just above.  However, the computer is certainly running so much better.  I did have an email that I sent out yesterday afternoon continuing going out to the same people every 1/2 half.  I have restarted the computer and hopefully that will eliminate that problem.  Would you have any other ideas about why that might be happening?
