As in the topic, I’m having problems with my slow computer.

Eset, Malwarebytes, and Windows Essentials don’t seem to find anything.

I would very much appreciate it if you could have a look.

Open notepad , Go to Start –> All Programs –> Accessories –> Notepad.
Please copy the entire contents Inside of the code box below beginning with START and ending with END
(To do this highlight the contents of the box, right click on it and select copy. Right-click in the open notepad and select Paste).
Name the file Fixlist, Save it to your desktop where you have FRST/FRST64 or the fix wont work, . Then open up FRST/FRST64 and click on FIX (Not Scan) It won't take long, after your computer reboots you will find a FIXLOG.TXT on your desktop, post it please

No, does not appear to have fixed problems although PC is a bit faster.

Still having problems opening web pages.

IE keeps shutting down.

    The two major issues I was having were when surfing and going from site to site, my screen would go from the current site to the desktop, then a few seconds later to the new site.

    Second issue was same scenario, but instead of going to the desktop between sites, I would get a message that IE stopped working and has to close and re-start.

    I have not seen either instance occur today so far, but my computer time has been very light today.

    Computer seems basically normal, a bit slow, but not acting up as it was, at the moment.

     

    When I type there is a few seconds delay before characters appear on screen.

    Keep me up to date on how your system is running so if it comes back we can dig a little deeper

     

    In the meantime lets do a free online virus scanner and see if it finds anything

        Could not get Eset to run, ran instead Housecall.
        It found (2) two issues which at first I ignored in attempt to post results here.
        Could not find a way to copy results into notepad.
        Ran a second time and cleaned both threats.

        Computer seems to be as it was, after running combofix yesterday.
        All pc time was running housecall for 3 plus hours, no surfing time today.
        Will try eset again tomorrow.

        Ok, lets see what ESET finds if your able to get it to run, in the meantime try setting Internet Explorer back to defaults

         

        • Open IE
        • Go to Tools> Internet Options > Advanced Tab
        • Reset Internet Explorer Setting
        • Reset
        • This will take a few seconds
        • Close IE and then reopen it and see if it helped
