Cleaning pc, need help with hijackthis [Closed]

WTT:

 

I have an HP G62 laptop that I am trying to clean up to optimize. I first cleaned it with CCleaner (with CCenhancer), then Combofix, Malwarebytes, then Hijackthis. Then I removed a virus with the help of Microsoft Security Essentials. 

 

I'm just stuck at Hijackthis, I dont know what's ok to remove and what's not ok. I have the log below. Any help is appreciated.

You mentioned that you have run ComboFix, a powerful first-responder malware removal tool, designed to remove some of the toughest infections; including bootkits, rootkits and backdoors. As stated in the disclaimer, the tool should not be used by someone untrained in its usage. Doing so may cause unforeseen circumstances, and could render your machine unbootable. For more information on why you should not run ComboFix without supervision, please read the following article.

Please navigate to your root folder C:\ and open ComboFix.txt. Copy the contents of the log and paste in your next reply.

Hijackthis is not the tool of choice for malware removal anymore. FRST will provide a better output.

STEP 1

  • Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (x64) and save the file to your Desktop.
  • Right-Click FRST64.exe and select [external image: AVOiBNU.jpg]Run as administrator to run the programme.
  • Click Yes to the disclaimer.
  • Ensure the Addition.txt box is checked.
  • Click the Scan button and let the programme run.
  • Upon completion, click OK, then OK on the Addition.txt pop up screen.
  • Two logs (FRST.txt & Addition.txt) will now be open on your Desktop. Copy the contents of both logs and paste in your next reply.
STEP 2

  • Please download aswMBR and save the file to your Desktop.
  • Temporarily disable your anti-virus software. For instructions, please refer to the following link.
  • Right-Click aswMBR.exe and select [external image: xAVOiBNU.jpg.pagespeed.ic.H5HC6LkiJX.jpg] Run as administrator to run the programme.
  • Click Yes when prompted to download avast! virus definitions. Wait until AVAST engine defs: ### appears.
  • If you are prompted to enable the use of "Virtualization Technology", click Yes.
  • Click the AV Scan: drop down box and click C:\.
  • Click Scan.
  • Upon completion, you will see Scan finished successfully. Click Save log. Save the log to your Desktop.
  • Re-enable your anti-virus software.
  • Copy the contents of the log and paste in your next reply.
Note: Do NOT click Fix or FixMBR.
Note: A file (MBR.dat) will be created on your Desktop. Do NOT click or delete it.
