Why can't any thread started by someone I have selected to ignore not be listed at all? The way it works now, I click on the title as I seldom look to see who created a topic until after decide if it's interesting or not. Then I get the following:

This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by ............ View it anyway?

I'd much prefer not to have that topic listed at all. The above should only be displayed when a ignored user posts in someone elses thread.

Apparently people have been having the same complaint for years.  There is a "skin" fix (I think that's) what they are called, that will hide posts from an ignored user.  Aparently the output looks a little strange because you get post #1, #2, #4, #6, #10, etc.  And if someone quotes something in the ignored post, it will show (of course).

However, IPB says there is no reasonable way to hide a topic that is started by an ignored user.  That makes sense because responses in the thread by a non ignored poster would still show... and they need a thread to show in.

Should be dead easy. If thread started by ignored user, skip it. Don't care if there are responses from non-ignored users.

If post is from ignored user in a thread started by a non-ignored user, do as it currently does.

I don't know squat about it. I've just seen several people request the same thing on ipb's site, and being told by ipb personnel that it can't be done.

Thanks Tom. Not a big deal, just a wish list item.
