OK this is the new log from the updated hijack this (I didn't know what you meant by(config-misc) but I hope this is what you needed:

It looks OK. Click here to download and install Registrar Lite. Install, run, copy and paste this line to reglite's address bar:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\\AppInit_DLLs

and hit the "go" tab. Find: "Appinit_Dlls" value on the right side panel, DoubleClick, copy and post here the information in the 'Value' field.
Click here to download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder and doubleclick on sss.exe. Check the boxes under the 'Items to Clear' tab and click 'Clear Selected Items'. You will be prompted to reboot, do so. Repeat for all log-in accounts on your computer.

Then reset your page as before - let me know how you get on.
You're welcome - glad to help :D

To help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:

So how did I get infected in the first place?

I think I stumbled on part of the problem! The homepage seems to go"about:blank" whenever I use my "SpyBlocs v2.0" that I downloaded and used to scan for spyware. I can reset my homepage and it stays, even after rebooting, but as soon as I scan with that program it goes "about:blank: again. What to do now?
OK I removed it and downloaded Adaware and Spybot and ran scans. Spybot found 5 "DSO exploit" registry changes so I fixed them but when I rebooted I tried the scan again it found those again(even though it said it was fixed). Do I need to do something with these?
