Please Help Me Get My Computer Back!

i ran this because i foudn pgate basic installed on my machine… and i searched for it on yahoo… found someone was told to run hijackthis.. so here i am

Please scan with hijackthis again and put a chcek beside these lines and choose FIX.

You can also put a check beside all the 016 lines. Theya re all activex files and will be reloaded when and if you go back to those sites.

Reboot and post a new HiJackThis log. You need to update you Hijakcthis as there is a new version which you can download HERE

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. In my signature below is also a tutorial on how to harden IE, a good read and very helpful to stop these things in the future. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on.

ok removing that one… bridge.dll.. thats the annoying error i get when windows loads.. more than happy to remove it!! i have zone alarm pro and i have kerpersky anti virus.. along with norton utilities checking my disks for crap… i run ad aware and spybot weekly if not more then that…. so im ok on those parts… i'll check out the other programs you reccommended.
