The corrupted files that AVG found:
Corrupted executable file, C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Temp\mpam-2cf0dce1.exe";"Infected"

Hi NoNo,

 

It appears AVG is doing the job it supposed to, and I have found no other new malware on your system. :thumbup: At this point I am at a loss as to why you cannot get Windows Updates to function properly.

 

You can go back to your other thread (where paws was helping) and let them know that there is no longer any malicious code remaining on your system.

I SUPPOSE THAT WOULD BE A MIRACLE TO NEVER HAVE MALWARE OR A VIRUS AGAIN, BUT ILL TRY!
