These problems are not related to any infection on your computer.

getting messages

where are these messages coming from and what do they say exactly?

Your version of Adobe Reader is out-of-date anyway.

The mDNSResponder.exe process belongs to Bonjour which is installed automatically by iTunes.

Note: Don’t remove Bonjour if you use iTunes to share libraries, or any other feature from an application that relies on it

However, reinstalling iTunes should fix any errors.

I suggest you uninstall Adobe Reader, all versions of Java and Bonjour.

Visit Adobe and download the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

NEXT

Install the latest version of Java:

Java

NOTE – when you install Java, before clicking on Install, be sure to uncheck “Install the Ask Toolbar and make Ask my default search provider”

Java.gif

Note: Even though I just had you get the latest version of Java, there is a vulnerability with regards to Java and web browsers. Therefore, we recommend to disable java in web browsers.

More information can be found here.

Let me know what happens when you have done this.

I’m sure that this is no longer virus/malware-related and I’m not qualified to advise you on anything Windows-related so I suggest you ask for help by starting a topic in our Windows forum where someone who is technically clued-up on these things should be able to help.

If they give you the all-clear and you still have problems, please return here and we’ll have another look.

I’m closing this topic now so if you need further help, please start a new topic and give a link to this one.

Regards

Satchfan
