Hi,

I wasn't able to get to my laptop in time, I was very busy but I have the next couple off and would like some assistance in debugging my laptop.

There are multiple tabs which appear, multiple windows and multiple pop-ups.

Thank you for your time,

Kind Regards,

Natalie

Hi jeff,

yes it is. Just being more specific (I normally have pretty poor computer skills and don't know terminology but somebody pointed this out to me)

The problem is multiple pop-ups, multiple windows and multiple tabs appear and my antivirus (avast) goes mental whenever I click on anything. It also happens on my banking website.

Thanks Jeff

Hi,

I have merged your last topic and the newest one so that we can keep track of what is happening.   :)

Since it has been a bit of time, let's get a fresh look at what is on the system.

Run a new scan with DDS and post the new log....then do the following as well.

LlJESjW.jpgMalwarebytes Anti-Rootkit

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and save it to your desktop.

  • Be sure to print out and follow the instructions provided on that same page.
  • Caution: This is a beta version so please be sure to read the disclaimer and back up all your data before using.
  • Scan your system for malware
  • If malware is found, please go to the MBAR folder and then copy/paste the contents of the MBAR-log-***.txt file to your next reply.

If there is no malware found, please let me know as well.
