Various Windows problems [Solved]

I have started to experience problems when starting my laptop.
First, it might take 2 or 3 attempts to get it going. Then I may get blue screen, or other things like the screen just flashing the image endlessly etc. and I have to restart.
When I get Windows running, I experience Windows services stopping (like Windows Explorer, Cryptographic service and others).
So a whole host of problems.
However, other times it runs problem free a whole session.
The problems don't occur in safe mode with internet.
