Need some ideas

Not a single post since 8-9-13……. what can we do to get What the Heck, to be a little more fun, and talkative?

That's a good question… maybe we are all just too busy? answering folks problems on the forums or perhaps just earning a living. Do you have any ideas on this? Regards paws

I've been thinking about a reply for a few days now, even though I respect you paws, I feel your reply was a little harsh. I have been around for quite a few years on the forums, and even though most of my time is spent at G2G as a moderator I was just trying to help out. Thought we could come up with some games or something to add a little extra to do here. sorry if I offended you….

Hi BHowett, Now I'm really embarrassed. I had no intention of making a reply sound harsh, and if it came across that way then I am deeply apologetic. Although I speak English (coming from the UK) I am trying to improve my knowledge, understanding and use of American English. It may be that I have to try much harder!…. there is probably some nuance of expression in my words that conveyed a message to you that certainly was not intended. I genuinely would appreciate any thoughts from you…that would help us all. Regards paws

I have to admit that I'm not picking up on the harshness in your response. What I "heard" you say is:

Over the years I've tried to introduce a couple of game threads. Success has been minimal. However, I'm all for it! I'll play just about anything. Also, as you know, the participants on the forum change as time goes by. This could be the right time to get something going. Go for it and I'll attempt to participate.

P.S. We realize that you are usually busy at G2G but we do appreciate it when you take the time to hang out over here. Thanks!
