I have been using a sharp YO-480 for about 10 years and even used it this morning. I opened it now and now it says:: Data has been repaired! Press (Y) to clear all memory Does anyone know about this problem. I thought I had it on my computer but I can't find it eithrer

Looks like the unit is corrupt. Your only option is probably to reinitialize the memory and start over. Your data is lost. These units aren't very reliable, and are obsolete at this point.
