Sorry to hear that, hope you are OK nowI was in the hospital for the past couple of days
the remaining issues don't sound as if they are malware related,
there are a couple of things you can do to see if performance improves
please run the Temp File Cleaner:
Download TFC to your desktop
- Close any open windows.
- Double click the TFC icon to run the program
- TFC will close all open programs itself in order to run,
- Click the Start button to begin the process.
- Allow TFC to run uninterrupted.
- The program should not take long to finish it's job
- Once its finished it should automatically reboot your machine,
- if it doesn't, manually reboot to ensure a complete clean
If that doesn't help, try the following:
- delete old, unused data from your cell phone
- check for any updates to your phone's firmware
- contact your service provider to check if you have reached/surpassed your allowable data plan limit or if there are any server issues
- if none of that helps, try restoring the phone's factory settings
- regarding YouTube: clear browser's cache and cookies and read through the articles posted HERE.
Now try a defrag:
First open an elevated Command Prompt
- Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories
- right click on the Command Prompt and choose “Run as administrator”
- Type the following see how much your hard drive is fragmented (in this example, your C:\ drive):
- defrag c: -a (be patient, this can take a while)
- The resulting analysis will tell you a “Percent file fragmentation” and at the bottom, if you need to defragment the drive or not.
- To fully defragment your C:\ drive type the following:
- defrag c: -w
- Give it time to run (it can take a while, best to leave the computer alone) and then you’re done!
Let me know if you find any improvement at all
