Since you did a great job with my laptop, now I need your expertise on his tower. He tells me it's slow and he has seen pop up's with warnings. I have not seen them.
He has Kaspersky as his anti virus.

If you happen to have a flash drive/thumb drive please have that ready in the event that we need to use it.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Please do not delete, download or install anything unless instructed to do so. DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision. Doing so could make your system inoperable and could require a full reinstall of your Operating System and losing all your programs and data.

Please download DDS from either of these links

and save it to your desktop.
Disable any antivirus programs during the scan (If you have difficulty properly disabling your protective programs, refer to this link here )
Double click dds to run the tool.
When done, two DDS.txt's will open.
Save both reports to your desktop.

thanks for responding! I will tackle your instructions tomorrow morning for sure! I don't use his pc too often, so I'm not fully aware of all that is going on with it. I did e-mail him from work today, which resulted in him calling me and asked me what did I send to him! He says a big box popped up as he was typing his response to my e-mail, but when he looked up, his typing was going into a big box, not his reply to me. This box also said DO NOT SHUT DOWN YOU COMPUTER - he did it anyway, when it rebooted it was fine. So I think this was great timing to call for your help again!

Ran combofis this morning and have attached the file. I hope we can do more today before the game starts!!
Save this as CFScript.txt and change the "Save as type" to "All Files" and place it on your desktop.

Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before following the steps below. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
Referring to the screenshot above, drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.
ComboFix may request an update; please allow it.
ComboFix will now run a scan on your system. It may reboot your system when it finishes. This is normal.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post the contents of the log in your next reply.
CAUTION: Do not mouse-click ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

I came up and combofix was done. Attached is the file.
Not sure how ti's running, I don't use this pc at all…he is in the wood shop and will be upstairs soon to use it. He did tell me that he thought his e-mail page loaded faster, but that is all he has said. I will make sure I ask him again.
