I've managed to replicate the problem by opening up 3 - 4 online films in my browser.
How did the system file become infected?

Hi manicd, Would you please open 3-4 online films in your browser, then run DDS and post the log? The driver could have become infected through a variety of means - it's hard to know exactly what.
