I had to buy several quarts of oil. 17 quarts total. All the oil was 15w-40. The ATV oil cost $1 per quart more than the standard automotive oil. I spent a total of $72.00.

What did each type of oil cost per quart and how many of each did I buy?

13 quarts of standard oil x $4 per quart = $52 4 quarts of atv oil x $5 per quart = $20 total $72
