Hi Patti. Nothing we did could have caused that. I have Googled the problem and it appears to be quite a common one but have not foind an answer yet. Have you upgraded ro IE9 yet? That mat be worth a try. I'll see if I can find out more.
Do you know how that became so full so quickly?

This was from your OTL log on the 16th August:

Drive D: | 331.01 Gb Total Space | 84.69 Gb Free Space | 25.59% Space Free | Partition Type: NTFS
no, I downloaded some themes trying to rid of the orange and get my command bar back. I went to troubleshoot ff, it reinstalled and problem good. Good as new. Can we check into that Drive D is so full? That's not my main driive, is it? As soon as I downloaded the add-ons, I removed them right away. But I would like to check it so I can make a nice clean backup of this. What should I do, or I could always scroll back and find the directions iyou would help me on this. I went to Drive D and see nothing there. It is 5 am and couldn't sleep, but I could now I think. Cya tomorrow Oh yeah, on the little "home" icon that is on the left of yahoo gets on the right or is supposed to be on the right, I don't know, but I want it back to the left and can't figure out I how I did it. Would you know?
So sorry for the confusion Patti. You don't have a "D" drive and that post should have gone to another person I am helping. I had both threads open and posted the reply to you mistakenly. Your "J" drive has plenty of room. If all is now well, let me know if we can close this. Sorry again for the worry I may have caused you. Satchfan
If you don't kow of ayone that can help me on yahoo, will yo let me know, no one knows notin'. Can I reach you again if need be? If so, you can close this thread with my heartmost thanks, Patti
I'm afraid I can't help with the Yahoo problem as I don't use it and am unfamiliar with its look or workings.

It may be worth you checking back at the Browsers, Internet and email forum.

I just went to Yahoo and did a random search and I saw no "home" icon, just a link to the home page.

Take care Patti.

Satchfan
Just wanted to let you know that I fixed all the coloring in Yahoo by myself, the orange top and the blackened in command bar. I am so proud of myself and it was so easy, I can't believe no one out there new it. Okay, that is all, Thanks again Satchfan!. I just love my computer. I think I asked you, but am scrolling back and can't find it. I am computer drowned here. How do I keep it in this shape?

I don't do combofix and olt do I

You need to uninstall these by following the instructions. I'm not sure what else you need to know or what you are asking.
I just wanted to know if I had the right programs on my computer, if you suggested other ones than what I had. Should I install Adobe Flash ? Since you haven't said anything in the past I will assume all is alright and I will keep them up to date. Thank you so much. Bye
You can install flash but remember to keep it up-to-date. FileHippo, a program I suggested you download, will keep things up-to-date.

Yiou can download flash from here
  • go to the bottom of the page and under Downloads, choose Adobe Flash Player/
  • you will then be able to choose the right one for your operating system.

Take care.

My computer is running so great, I was just wondering if there were any programs that I really didn't need in there or some I did need to install. You already answered my question though.
I just got an email from adobe saying adobe creator PDF is not going to be free anymore. I googled it and don't think I even need it. I guess I want to keep this computer as clean and clutter free as possible. I tend to download stuff it it tells me too. I think I will ask Paws before I download anything.
Thanks so much.
One more question and then I will leave you alone. You said my computer was full of viruses and I run cleaner, MSE and malwarebytes a lot, so how did it get so messed up? I don't want to have to go what we just went through again. Thanks
A lot of what was on your computer was probably downloaded with other programs.

Always read eveything and check what they are offering as "free extras". Basically, just uncheck the extras and don't accept freebies unless you have Googled them and find they are safe.

There is no 100% way except experience. If in doubt, say NO
