You have two groups of letters:

Group 1 {A E F H I M T V W X}
Group 2 {C G Q R S J B Z D}

After looking at them you realize that one letter is in the wrong group. Which letter and why?



#2)

You go into a room and find 3 monkeys.

The Gibbon has a banana.
The Spider monkey has a calculator.
The Baboon doesn't have anything.

Which is the smartest primate in the room?

I'm guessing both of these 1.E 2. Baboon

yes, i think it's a trick question too and you hit the nail on the head oldman.

will wait and see if the supplied answers are correct before tax my brain.

Now I'm a bit confused.

"You" should have been the correct answer to #2 (or from your perspective… "me")… but seeing as how it turns out that the "you" in question is oldman960 - The Canadian Curmudgeon, upon whom senility bestowed her highest rank years ago… I think you can all understand why I'm re-reading the question to see for certain that one of the other primates in the room are not really the smartest monkey there.

📎old.JPG Now listen here sonny….. Now for my reasoning on the letter Z. All the letters in the first group are comprised of straight lines. In the second group the letters have curved lines or arcs except for the the Z.

And it's a clean sweep.
