The disc is being burned on this desktop and when I go into properties it has the files, so should be ok.
I have checked the boot sequence and thats ok.
I may have another CD rom drive, I will look for it and change it and see if that makes a difference.
The only other thing (which is highly suspect) is me as this part of computers totally confuses me.
OK I'm not sure what is going on because I downloaded the same exact file this morning per the instructions I posted.
Used burncdcc to browse for the file and then burn the file to a disc.
Rebooted my system with the disc in my dvd drive and the system booted straight to the disc with no problem.
If it is going to your windows then your boot sequence is not right or you may have the option to temporarily change the boot sequence from one of your posting screens.
Let me give this another go ..
I have attched an image of the boot order, is that correct?
What post do you refer to with the one you tested, is it ok for me to run that on the good PC? I didnt try this in case it messed this one up.
Then at least I know up to that point is ok.

Yes that is correct.
I refer to the puppy linux post I made earlier. Once you download the file you then open burncdcc and you will find a browse button. Browse to where you saved the puppy linux iso and choose it. Then click start and let the image burn to the disc.
Once that is done then exit burncdcc and restart your system.
Ok I downloaded and burned and then altered the bios in the good pc and rebooted and this is what I got.
I wasnt logged on as administrator in case that makes a difference.
OK it happens sometimes on the first boot with puppy. Try rebooting and see if it will go in the next time.
You should not be logged in anywhere when you reboot as the system should boot straight to the cd.
Strange as I have never had a problem with anyone making this disc and being able to boot to it.
If we can't get it to boot then the other option is to connect it in a working system as a second drive and try to backup the data that way.
