Hello, First, so far, this is an awesome website. Now, for MY problem: Yahoo email acct login page is sometimes deathly slow in loading and, once in, cursor freezes, after clicking on a new email it takes extremely long time for the email to load and, sometimes, after the email does load, all of the text is missing. Also, on some websites, the "Back" button refuses to work. I have used the key shortcut but that only works sometime. I could only upload one single attachment so I have pasted a Word document below listing all of the Programs in my Add/Remove Program file and I'm sure the uploaded logs from Norton 360 has all of my system information for my laptop listed in a much better order than what I could do. If in fact you need more please let me know. I don't know if I have some kind of virus, malware, spyware, bad add on(s), or what I just hope you can help me like you've helped so many other people. This is so extremely annoying. Also, pretty much the only things I use my laptop for is surfing the internet, emails, downloading movies and pictures and uploading movies and pictures from other devices and cameras. No games of any kind. I only use Microsoft Word and Excel occasionally. If you have any questions about anything please let me know and I'll do my best to accomodate. Thank you so much for your time. Shawn L. I'm sorry but I forgot to paste the information from my Add/Remove Programs file. This doesn't sound like an infection but we'll see what we can do.

DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:
1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them
2. With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

============= FINISH: 9:45:53.04 ===============
Not seeing anything bad there.

Please run a new MBAM scan being sure to update before scanning.

Post the scan results

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Please don't attach the scans / logs, use "copy/paste".
Dang! Forgot about you not wanting me to "attach". Ok, I must have missed something because I'm not sure what an "MBAM" scan is and not sure what to "update" with, maybe Norton 360? Let me know what that is and I'll certainly do it. Shawn L.
I see MalwareBytes (MBAM) listed as one on the programs installed on the computer.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to the following:
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad and if required the program will ask you to reboot to remove locked files.

Post the scan results using Copy/Paste
Well, I did the "Full" scan, took almost two hours. However, after it was done it offered to show the results but it did NOT have an option to "Save" anything and I was unable to "Cut and Paste" anything so I lost all of that. Any suggestions? If not I'll do the "Quick" scan after work and try to send the results for that. But, just so you'll know, the scan did result in finding several bad things. Not even sure if the program dealt with them or not. I found this to be a very UN-user friendly session.
Ok, I did what you said and, as usual, it turned out alright. Enclosed you will find the results of the MBAM as well as a list of Add Ons that are on my laptop. Let me know if I can remove anything. Same. Sometimes slow as if certain websites are overloaded, sometimes clicking "Back" does no good at all. Yahoo mail just drives me crazy. It's extremely slow and when mail finally opens and I click on an individual email, it opens fully less than half the time. When it doesn't open fully none of the text content comes thru, it's just blank. I just feel like throwing the dayam thing across the room! Any other suggestions?
