Computer running slower , Will receive black screens on some videos [S

I don't get how MVPS thingy works .

What it does is to block your system from accessing bad websites. It is not a necessity to have but just more a suggestion. I don't use it myself but some people do.

I am still working on why you are having trouble with Online Armour with your videos.

My graphic card is having a problem . I can view one side but not the other . This lappy will be sent for repairs from today onwards . Should be back in a couple of days time . So i suggest that you do not lock this thread first as it will take me some time to reply back . Sorry about that though .

hi sir . Apologises for the long delay . I am back now . I have hidden my files and extensions now . Machine seems to be running fine now . Anything i still need to do ? I have reinstalled Online Armor and Avira anitvirus though . One thing to note though , Online Armor always prompts for a file to be run , and when i run that file , the lag for videos will come . Not sure why is this so . C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\18.0.1025.168\gcswf32.dll Hope you can assist in that . Thanks . Have sent ya a PM as well.

Yes . I use Direct connection and wireless connection . Only switch to direct if connectivity is an issue . On wireless at the moment .

Well…this is only my opinion and others may not agree, but if you are using a wireless router than I would just use the Windows Firewall (that is exactly what I do). The router acts as a hardware firewall providing you have the security set up on it. You could always just do that and save Online Armour for when you go to a wifi hotspot or when you use a wired connection.

Apologises . Read your last messages but forgot to reply . Previous machine has been infected with malware before , hence installed Online Armor to prevent similar things from happening . Anyway , i have blocked that program as mentioned . Nothing seems abnormal with my machine . Guess my current machine is cured . Thanks a lot .
