Thanks Jason1970, that's the one I needed .
  • Please download GetPartitions from here
  • You must right click on the link and choose Save as….
  • Save it as GetPartitions.bat to your desktop
  • Double click on the icon to run it (If running Vista or Windows 7, right click on it and select "Run as an Administrator").
  • It will produce a log on your C:\ drive C:\DiskReport.txt
  • please navigate to that file and post the contents of the log in your next reply

Hi Jason1970,

Ok, that's not giving me what I wanted <_<

Let's give GParted a run.
  • Download the GParted Live CD ISO and burn it to a CD or DVD as an ISO image preferably using a clean computer.
  • Insert the GParted CD in the infected computer's CD drive and restart the computer.
  • Select the option to boot from CD.
  • Once you have succesfully booted to the Linux Live CD, you'll see this display.
    [external image: Posted Image]
  • Choose the GParted Live (Default Settings) option and hit Enter.
  • Allow GParted to load by selecting all default options.
  • When asked "Which Mode do you Prefer" - Hit Enter to use Gparted automatically, and the GParted Desktop will display:
    [external image: Posted Image]
  • Take a photo of the screen with a camera and upload it to imageshack.
  • Post a link to the photo.
Hi, can U recommend a good free winzip program to unzip the Gparted program, I have been looking for 1 but keep getting scared away when they want to install extra carp** on my computer & I recognize some of the names like NCH so I don't want to download more grief, thx
TY for your patience, I have tried burning the Gparted program to a disc & after 3 tries I got the blue screen of death so I rebooted & I am trying to burn using record now but it keeps saying to insert an apendable disc. I have tried 3 different blank discs (CD, CD-R, CDRW)& keep getting the same apendable disc msg so I am stuck, any ideas? Also, I only have this infected computer to burn with.
Hi Jason1970,

No problem. No you don't need to unzip an ISO image. The image burner should be able to extract the contents and create a bootable disk. Let's give Image Recorder a try. Download and install it, then double click the gParted image and follow the prompts to burn it. Make sure you select the lowest recording speed possible to avoid errors.
