hey,
i need to enable my registry editor and task manager..so i run gpedit.msc, and disable prevent registry editor and prevent task manager..and even though both are disabled..i still cant run them….through forums i found out that it could be spyware o malware….hence downloaded hijackthis tool….scanned it….

Your downloading that file from an unknown source bypassing your firewall, Before we continue I would like you to uninstall it via Programs and Features in the Control Panel or we are just going to be wasting our time as getting infected is right around the corner if not already


I am also seeing no Anti Virus programs on your system, you can download and install this free one from Microsoft
Microsoft Security Essentials

Or another nice one is Avast, free version

Download CKScanner
  • Important - Save it to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick CKScanner.exe and click Search For Files.
  • After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.
  • A message box will verify the file saved.
  • Double-click the CKFiles.txt icon on your desktop and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.
