Awww… a day late and a few hours short!
Congratulations, oldman960!
I noticed you've had experience
Does "GWN" mean Great White North?
Does Milwaukee Wisconsin count as being in the GWN?
If not, it sure feels like it 6 months out of the year!
I don't know much about "frozen flagpoles". I think I'm too young to know about those kind of things.
Hey Tomk!
Cool Monday Madness puzzle!
Thanks for the info about frost and rain! I always thought rain was so pure (except acid rain, of course)!! Had no idea each drop contains particulate! ewwww!! How I ever missed out on that info all through school is beyond me!! Maybe it was one of those days I thought we had a "snow day" until I find out later that "all-schools-declared-a-snow-day-except-mine" causing me to miss the lecture on "Condensation".
Hey! Who hear has experienced "snow-days"?

This is how rain forms. When particles of dust, smoke, whatever… contained in a cooler air mass comes into contact with a warmer (therefore more moisture laden) air mass - the water vapor in the warmer air condenses into water drops on the colder particles, becoming to heavy for the air currents to keep suspended, and therefore falls to earth.

Yes. Sorry you are about 6 degrees too far south.Does "GWN" mean Great White North?
To learn all about frozen flagpoles try this next winter. On a day when it's below freezing just lick a flagpole. You will gain all the knowledge and experience you need in a matter of seconds.
Unfortunately snow days don't happen any more for me. The boss just won't except " Can't come to work today, the snow is up past my dogs' ears."

shouldn't that come with a disclaimer that your not responsible for any hospital bills that may arise??

Folks aren't normally out walking their dog in the "wee hours" of the morning.
When I worked the nightshift at a convenience store, I had an elderly lady who would park her teeny little car in the carpark at 2am every morning, open up the back and let out her 2 massive German Shepherds, and away they would go for thier hour long walk. This was a nightly vigil, and in 2 years she only ever actually came into the store once or twice. I asked her one of those times "why??" and she said it was the only time she could walk them and feel safe as she was terrified of cats and most people keep thier cats inside at night.
Just had to share that story with you all lol.
