To the forum, My computer seems to be infected by a Click.Giftload that spybot will detect but not delete. The infection seems to be messing with my IE and is stopping my computer from shutting down properly. When I try and shut down a blue screen appears stating Internal_power_error and then the computer restarts. Windows update is also not working. In my research in how to fix this problem i have noticed that many people are having the same problem as me without much success in fixing it. I saw in another post that I should run DDS. I did this and here is the DDS.txt: (attach.txt is also attached) Any help that can be provided would be much appreciated. Cheers. . DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:
1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them
2. With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

Stay with this topic until I give you the all clean post.

You might want to print these instructions out.

I suggest you do this:

Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

[external image: Posted Image]
Click the "Scan" button to start scan

[external image: Posted Image]
On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply
