Reading all the back-and-forth posts from you guys reminded me of…………..
First philosopher: "How many philosopher's does it take to change a light bulb?:
Second philosopher: "hmmmm. Now there's an interesting question. First we must define "change".
I don't believe in philosophers. There's no room for them in my little "black and white", non-quantum world. Here… everything doesn't need to be proven. Things just are what they are… and probably always will be.

I like that! Too funny.
I started reading thru the posts and thought aarrgghh, too intellectual for me.
Thats why I threw in my little touch of sillyness into the mix, to break the endless intellectualism.
Boys boys boys! Hasnt anybody ever told you never to "debate" politics or religion.
But I think most of you here by now realise Im rarely serious.
Science was never my strong point, a chook (chicken) is a chook and an egg is an egg and at the end of the day, they both make a good meal
I shall save my 139 IQ for the maths class haahaa.
You know, the funny thing is Terry, that until recently I would have answered that with "quite possibly" as I did have an older brother born in 1966 who was adopted (or stolen, depends on how you look at it) at birth.
But I recently discovered he was killed in a car accident at the age of 7.
Anyway, as if there wasnt enough "dscussion" "debate" whatever you want to call it on this matter, I thought I would just throw in that I believe all birds originally evolved from the ocean. Cos I am a stirrer, I will throw that line in and see how many bites we get
was the whole world an ocean??
if not then no i don't believe anyone can state all life, birds included originated in the ocean…
it might of been a big/small lake/puddle, molten rock or even carbon dioxide trapped between tectonic plates that started life as we now know it…
i do think that life flourished and diversified tho when it found it's way into the oceans, that is, if it never started there.
and i think you'll find all birds actually evolved from a land reptile/dinosaur, if the theories on it are correct of course..
I guess I don't understand your query… The reality is that you can't have water in a vacuum. I guess truthfully… you can't really have a vacuum. So maybe you are just talking a low pressure area… in which case the glass is still full of air.
