If they've removed the repository of all of your wisdom… I guess that means that we won't be seeing you around as much.
hurting when I laugh uhhh forgot what else I was going to say o noooo I am losing it now o nooooo as mr. bill would say ooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Only had the 1 pulled, but I OD'd on painkillers after, and I mean high powered (controlling 22 years of constant pain), I should of been done in the hospital due to my health, but they had a 3 month waiting list, no way I would survive that, so my dentist did it, last time I hope to ever go through that again, but with luck I now have a fast track into the hospital, a mate is a PA for a military section within the Max Fax unit, and got me set up so all I have to do is holla if there is a next time, but I certainly feel for you, but 3 days and you will be pretty good, just a bit tender, so hang in a couple of days and you will be fine.
Actually, I do feel for you Jimbo1. I got mine cut out 9 or 10 years ago. A dentist said I should have them cut out when I was in High School… but I didn't do it. Then they nagged me about them everytime I'd go to the dentist… (hate dentists so I only go every 5 or 6 years). The stupid things finally got to bothering me so bad I got them removed. It is really a pretty weird experience I thought. There is something about a guy sticking a chisel in your mouth and beating on it with a hammer that is a bit surreal. I shall never forget that cracking/crunching sound as they dug in there. The doctor was proud of himself. Said he got one out in only 9 pieces.
I don't actually recall the pain being that bad. I'm guessing that was because they sent me home with Vicodan. I last about 15 minutes after taking one of those and I"m asleep. My big discomfort… was on about day 3, I started getting nauseated. Apparently Vicodan makes me sick.
Anyhow, good luck buddy - and that's for real. April fools was over yesterday.
The dentist in my local town said I should have all four removed but not really needed as long as it doesn't cost me any pain, and my friend who is studying dentistry in Australia told me there is no need to go for it since they don't grow anymore. Heh.

I had teeth pulled in the past before but never like this, I feel like rocky getting beaten up by apollo in the jaw atm, but the bad part right now is the dizziness and nauseated. Antibiotic because it was infected and lortabs if thats how you spell it, for the pain. Few folks I talked to yesterday said wisdom teeth are the worst, don't know why but I guess they are right.
Good luck jimmy, I hope you begin to feel better soon…..
The jaws sure do ache after wisdom tooth extraction……. but my chest and legs were the worst thing…… (when I had mine done……)
my chest, because that's where the dentist placed his foot…( for greater purchase!)
and my legs from running around the dental surgery so much with the dentist chasing me with his pincers in one hand and a hypodermic syringe in the other!

I hope you get to feeling better. I had mine cut out when I joined the Army over 16 years ago. They did the left side (which really hurt) and then two weeks later did the right side (much easier) so I really feel your pain. Just keep those wounds in the back of your jaws rinsed out well and take it easy.
I must have been really lucky! I had one of mine extracted then drove str8 to work at a service station from the dentist. My boss told me I was mad lol, but apart from feeling like a bit of a tool serving customers with half my face swollen and numb, I got thru the evening relatively well.
Hope you are feeling better soon
Doing better today got up yesterday and went to church, I get a little flushed from over doing it I guess trying to hard. Little pain today more like throbbing now. Moving around a bit more today, just be glad to get off these antibiotics, their the ones thats making me dizzy.
Jimbo1
Joy Joy, Had to go back to dentist this morning the pain came back and was putting me down, found it was a dry socket, uhhhhhh they had to go into it and clean it out ooooo that hurts and then packed it. He said I should be feeling better in a day or 2.
Dang was hoping to eat real food, back to jello and soup and mashed potatoes.
