This means that the thing found is a copy of the mbr, a remnant of an old infection. Nothing to adress here. Only when you see sector 00 in the log, then you see a current infection.

Everything you wrote in the post above sounds like your harddrive will die soon. Would be better to save your data and buy a new drive. Then you can do a fresh installation of the operating system and all problems will be gone :).
