The basic windows drivers will bet you video and internet. You may then need to download sound drivers etc. The router itself will not be effected by the reformat. You will need your key code. It is probably on a sticker on the bottom of your computer. It also is often found on the windows book that comes with your CD.

ok got key code and all that so i will be able to access the internet (through my lan connection) once i reformat though? thats the main concern so i can get all the other drivers

well just want a quick confirmation on the ethernet/internet drivers

wills, I can't tell anything about your drivers from an HJT log. Try posting again in your other topic and I suspect that someone one the Tech Team will know a handy trick for getting your driver information.

the log was for some1 to look at real quick but uh if i reformat the basic drivers will give me ethernet drivers to access the internet then? through a lan connection

Yes. The basic drivers that are on your windows disc should do that.

Windows has drivers. Those are on your Windows disk.

had to wait till now to get some files stored, will try to reformat right away

success on reformatting, currently installing norton and ie 8 for security and will run updater for windows but any suggestions or should i head over to the tech part for the rest of it?

so far comp is like 300% faster no internet problems etc wow this is just simply amazing
