I believe I had a trojan Shuer and thought I had the problem corrected.
Chrome and MSN messenger do not recognize internet connection.
Also in firefox I am getting cool chaser when trying to search

Hi MajNouna, welcome to the forum.

To make cleaning this machine easier

Please do not uninstall/install any programs unless asked to
It is more difficult when files/programs are appearing in/disappearing from the logs.
Please do not run any scans other than those requested
Please follow all instructions in the order posted
All logs/reports, etc.. must be posted in Notepad. Please ensure that word wrap is unchecked. In notepad click format, uncheck word wrap if it is checked.
Do not attach any logs/reports, etc.. unless specifically requested to do so.
If you have problems with or do not understand the instructions, Please ask before continuing.
Please stay with this thread until given the All Clear. A absence of symptoms does not mean a clean machine.

Open hijackthis, do a system scan only and checkmark these lines, if present

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:50370
F3 - REG:win.ini: load=C:\Users\Pamela\AppData\Local\Temp\dwm.exe

Close ALL other windows/browsers and click Fix Checked. Answer Yes if prompted. Close HJT.

Next

Please download MBRCheck.exe to your desktop.

Be sure to disable your security programs
Double click on the file to run it (Vista and Windows 7 users will have to confirm the UAC prompt)
A window will open on your desktop
if an unknown bootcode is found you will have further options available to you, at this time press N then press Enter twice.
If nothing unusual is found just press Enter
A .txt file named MBRCheck_mm.dd.yy_hh.mm.ss should appear on your desktop.
Please post the contents of that file.

Next

Download OTL to your Desktop

Right click on the icon and select "runas Administrator" to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
Click on Minimal Output at the top
Download the following file scan.txt to your Desktop. Click here to download it. You may need to right click on it and select "Save"
Double click inside the Custom Scan box at the bottom
A window will appear saying "Click OK to load a custom scan from a file or Cancel to cancel"
Click the OK button and navigate to the file scan.txt which we just saved to your desktop
Select scan.txt and click Open. Writing will now appear under the Custom Scan box
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan won't take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and post them in your topic

Hi No you did it correctly. Sometimes these logs are quite large. Try attaching them instead.

Hi

That is large. You should be able to attach it though

To attach a file, do the following:

Under the reply panel is the Attachments Panel
Browse for the attachment file you want to upload, then click the green Upload button
Once it has uploaded, click the Manage Current Attachments drop down box
Click on the icon with the green + sign to insert the attachment into your post

We have a couple of options

1. Zip the files and then attach the zips

2. Upload to Mediafire and post the sharing link.

I see you have used TDSKiller. Please post the contents of this file

After this little fix all browsers should be able to connect to the internet. Are the redirects isolated to FireFox or all browsers?

Right click on MBRCheck.exe to run it,

type in Y and press Enter when asked if you wish to see more options
Type in 1 to "Dump the MBR of a physical disk to file" and press Enter
Type in 1 to select your disk and press Enter
Type in dump.txt as the file name and press Enter
Type in -1 to exit and press Enter.
