Hello,
My computer has random advertisements pops up in my firefox. I've noticed that there is also a program called ad-aware 07 installed, even though i did not authorise the installation (as i'm the only user at home for this pc). I've noticed that a process in the task manager called AAWservice.exe takes up 100mbs and at sometimes 20% of cpu usage. I've tried removing it with Malwarebytes antimalware, it removed some files, and once i rebooted it, the problem came back again. But aawservice.exe doesn't seem to take up that much cpu and mbs after reboot. The ability to play music files has also been stopped, saying 'something is wrong with my sound device'.
This usually happens when a microsoft "Generic host process for win32 services" pop up comes out, saying it needs to close, then my screen changes dramatically. the taskbar changes to a totally different style (its like windows classic style, instead of the xp style i've selected ages ago). Right now i'm having to resort to maxthon as my internet browser as this forum page crashes firefox everytime for some reason.
I'm not sure what to do and any help will be greatly appreciated.
