I was running Malwarebytes and it found some type of Adware.BHO. It supposedly has been removed, but I'd like to make sure that everything is okay and it's not still on my machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have the Hijack This log beneath.

I will be helping you on removing malwares on your computer. Log research takes time, so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for the issues on this machine.
Do not install/uninstall anything on your computer unless advised.
Do not run any other scanning tools other than those instructed for you to use.
Follow the instructions on the order they are given.
Stay with this thread until advised when your computer is clean. Absence of symptoms does not necessarily mean a clean computer.
If you are being helped regarding this problem on another forum please advice us so that we can close this thread.
If you do not reply within 3 days after my last response, I will be asking you whether you still need assistance and if you still don't reply within 48 hours then the topic will be closed.
And lastly, if you have any questions, please ask before proceeding with any of the advised fixes.

You will need to right click and choose "Run as Administrator" to run the tools we will use.
Let's dig a little deeper.
Download OTL to your desktop.
Right click on the icon then choose Run as Administrator to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.
You may need two posts to fit them both in.

Download the GMER Rootkit Scanner. Unzip it to your Desktop.
Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed and no other actions like a scheduled antivirus scan will occur while the scan is being performed. Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan.
Right click GMER.exe then choose "Run as Administrator" to run the tool. [external image: Posted Image]
If it gives you a warning about rootkit activity and asks if you want to run a full scan…click on NO, then use the following settings for a more complete scan..
In the right panel, you will see several boxes that have been checked. Ensure the following are UNCHECKED …
IAT/EAT
Drives/Partition other than Systemdrive (typically C:\)
Show All (don't miss this one) [external image: Posted Image] Click the image to enlarge it
Then click the Scan button & wait for it to finish.
Once done click on the [Save..] button, and in the File name area, type in "ark.txt"
Save the log where you can easily find it, such as your desktop.
**Caution**
Rootkit scans often produce false positives. Do NOT take any action on any "<— ROOKIT" entries
Please copy and paste the report into your Post.

My GMER interface looks slightly different than the one you have. It doesn't have the option to uncheck IAT/eAT, Show All, etc. I have attached a screencap of it. Should I just go ahead and scan? Thanks for your help!
The options are there and already unticked. As you are using a 64 bit machine this might not work. You can try it but if it won't run then do the following instead:
I tried to run GMER, and it said that it did not detect any system modifications. I tried to save a log file, but nothing showed up.
I then tried to run the RKUnhooker, but this message popped up:
Error loading driver: NTSTATUS CODE: 0XC00003613
What should I do next? Thank you so much for you help!
Also: I attached a picture of the GMER message.

Right click Internet Explorer or Firefox then choose "Run as Administrator" to run the program.
NOTE: After scanning with Kaspersky, close your browser then run it without administrator privileges for your browsing.
Using Internet Explorer or Firefox, visit Kaspersky On-line Scanner
1. Click Accept, when prompted to download and install the program files and database of malware definitions. 2. To optimize scanning time and produce a more sensible report for review:
Close any open programs
Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan
3. Click Run at the Security prompt.
The program will then begin downloading and installing and will also update the database.
Please be patient as this can take several minutes.
Once the update is complete, click on My Computer under the green Scan bar to the left to start the scan.
Once the scan is complete, it will display if your system has been infected. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. We only require a report from it.
Do NOT be alarmed by what you see in the report. Many of the finds have likely been quarantined.
Click View scan report at the bottom.

1. Kaspersky log.
2. How is your computer?
The Kapersky log turned up negative. I couldn't actually save a text report since nothing came up, but I attached a screencap to verify.
My comp seems to be running fine, but I did have a question about the OTL log I posted earlier: where it lists the O1 Hosts files and then a bunch of links like 007guard.com and 10sek.com, are those cookies on my comp that I should be concerned about? Or is it nothing?
And out of curiosity, did I just have spyware on my comp? Is it safe to go about my regular browsing, including my online banking? Thanks for all the help and the clarification, I really appreciate it!
Those O1 lines are there as you are using a custom hosts file. Those listed are malicious sites that when you try to go them it would automatically redirect you to your localhost (127.0.0.1) preventing your pc from being infected by those sites.
Please note that those sites are malicious and I advise you not to go there.
With regards to online banking. I recommend you to change all your online passwords.
If you don't have any other questions then let's do some clean up.
Okay, thanks so much for the answers! I was just worried that I still had stuff on there. Is there anything else I should do besides changing my passwords? Any more scans I should conduct?
Below are some recommendations to keep your system secure.
Let's do a little clean up before you go.
Reenable TeaTimer:
Open Spybot Search & Destroy.
In the Mode menu click Advanced mode if not already selected.

Here are some tips to reduce the potential for spyware infection in the future:
1. It is good security practice to change your passwords to all your online accounts on a fairly regular basis, this is especially true after an infection. Refer to this Microsoft article
Strong passwords: How to create and use them
Then consider a password keeper, to keep all your passwords safe.
2. Make your Internet Explorer More Secure
From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
Click once on the Security tab.
Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
Click once on the Custom Level button.
Change the Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt.
Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable.
Change the Initialise and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable.
Change the Installation of desktop items to Prompt.
Change the Launching programs and files in an IFRAME to Prompt.
Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to Prompt.
When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
Next press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Properties page.
3. Update your Anti-Virus Software - I can not overemphasize the need for you to update your Anti-virus application on a regular basis. With the ever increasing number of new variants of malware arriving on the scene daily, you become very susceptible to an attack without updated protection.
4. Make sure you keep your Windows OS current by visiting Windows update regularly to download and install any critical updates and service packs. Without these you are leaving the back door open.
5. Consider a custom hosts file such as MVPS HOSTS. This custom hosts file effectively blocks a wide range of unwanted ads, banners, 3rd party Cookies, 3rd party page counters, web bugs, and many hijackers.
For information on how to download and install, please read this tutorial by WinHelp2002
Note: Be sure to follow the instructions to disable the DNS Client service before installing a custom hosts file.
6. Download and install the free version of WinPatrol. This program protects your computer in a variety of ways and will work well with your existing security software. Have a look at this tutorial to help you get started with the program.
7. SpywareBlaster - Download and install SpywareBlaster. This program prevents the installation of ActiveX-based spyware and other potentially unwanted programs.
8. Protect your computer from internet threats withSandboxIE. This program isolates Internet Explorer from the rest of your operating system, 'sandboxing' it away - so malicious websites can't do damage to the rest of your system. There is a Getting Started guide on their website.
9. Some excellent free firewalls. Note: Use only one firewall at a time. Agnitum Outpost Firewall Online Armor Personal Firewall
Okay, I've followed through your clean up instructions. Thank you very much for all of your help. I just have one more question: I was looking through the programs I have installed while I was removing the old Java and came across: GoToAssist 8.0.0.514. Is this just software that comes with my Dell or something else? I didn't recognize it. Thank you for your help!
