Okay, so last Saturday (june 6, 2010) my dad got the messages saying our computer was infected and he got tricked into downloading the Antispyware Soft Virus. I followed instructions online on how to delete it but I think it still remains, or at least SOMETHING is messing up my computer. Tabs and windows randomly open up and take me to random ad sites that I suspect are malicious. Sometimes they redirect me to the google.com/webhp thing. As I am typing this, I am running a Trend Micro Sweep of my computer, but who knows if it will do anything. This problem persists on Internet Explorer and Firefox. Any help is much appreciated!!!

edit: it's about 10 PM and I am getting off for the night. As of now, Kaspersky is at 75%. I'm going to leave it on all night, I guess.
just wondering, I was looking at my logs and saw that they deleted "Fast Browser Search." However, it is still on my Firefox browser. Is this supposed to be there? i never even thought that it could be a malware either lol….just thought it was a normal program.
EDIT: it's 10:30 AM the next day and I just woke up to find that sometime during the night my computer shut off for some update. So I have to do the whole scan AGAIN!!!!!!
