Good Day:
My problem has been going on for several months now. Whenever i shut down or start up my computer the windows updates attempt to run but then never complete. I am given a message to the effect of "updates not successful, reverting", so i am beginning to worry not getting these updates will cause me other problem. I had a redirecting virus back in nov/december which the forum helped me correct but now this windows updating problem makes me think it is related to that virus. This laptop is running Vista Home Premium on a pentium dual core 2.1ghz processor. has 3 gb ram. Any help would be greatly appreciated.The dds log is as follows:
