I had a trojan on my computer a few months back and thought it was deleted but continue to have problems. My Kaspersky security system will sometimes be shut down mysteriously and I will not have protection and my computer seems to be bogged down constantly.

I ran the dds program and the contents are below. When running the gmer scan - I got a blue screen about 40 minutes into the scan and it shut down my computer.

Can you help get rid of the viruses/infection/trojan on my computer?

Also how do I zip the 2nd dds attachment to include?

Thanks.

Here is the 1st dds scan

Hello there,

I see that you still have Ewido Security Programs, and I strongly advice you to uninstall it mainly because it is no longer supported by AVG and it is an old program that is no longer effective for your protection. You should keep Kaspersky as your only internet security solution as opposed to having two.

Please uninstall the following Programs using the Add/Remove Programs utility if they exist.
Ewido Security Suite

Detailed steps below :-
On the Windows XP taskbar:
Click Start > Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, double-click Add or Remove Programs.

===================================================

Please run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and post back the report it shall produce:

  • Download MGADiag to your desktop.
  • Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program
  • Click "Continue"
  • Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).
  • Click the "Copy" button to copy the MGA Diagnostic Report to the Windows clipboard.
  • Paste the MGA Diagnostic Report back here in your next reply.
===================================================
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware here and save to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. (Note to Vista users, please right-click and select Run as Administrator.)
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the log back into your next reply
Note:
  • The log can also be found here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
  • Or via the Logs tab when Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is started.
Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.
