There's no real problem with the update, it seems to work fine…for those folks in the EU who are already using IE 8 and want to continue (and that's quite a lot of my customers) there is practically nothing to do. However if folks want to use a different browser than the one their Windows OS came with, then this update makes it simple and complies with the monopoly/cpmpetition rules in the EU.
