i am getting an error message that says validation falied for c:\WINDOWS\system32\VSINIT.dll You proably are missing a necessary root certificate. i have an averatec laptop 2200 series

Problem may be related to your CMOS battery (not the main power supply battery)
or
botched installation of Zone Alarm Suite (recommend uninstall/reinstall)
or
corrupted files related to Internet explorer.
(in your case you are using Internet Explorer version 6.0xxx <– terribly dated and vulnerable.
Update as soon as possible via MS Update.

when i go to add or remove programs and click to remove ZoneAlarm security suite it would give me an erro saying am missing necessary root certificate

Your problem/ error warning is resulting from the fact that you are installing ZoneAlarm version 6.1.741 which was available for Win98, WinME, Win2000 and did work with Win XP… until it expired (years ago)

Any ZoneAlarm version 6.5 or earlier will throw that same error and clobber up your system.

The current version of ZoneAlarm (suites) is at least 8.0
