Hi
recently had a program trying to start, and kept popping up like 20-30 times, I denied each time. ran a MBMA got 5 corrupted files and removed them. (I'll post THAT log rather than the one i recently did, that one came out clean)

So i have been getting a few pop-ups (more than before)
and I have been playing an online game, which seems to get corrupted every couple of days and i have to repair the whole game, and its making me :pullhair:

Like i said i removed the files with MBMA but something still doesn't feel quite right.

I have done some prep work, but while running it i found that the GMER file did not run properly
this is the message I got:

C:\Windows\system32\config\system: The System cannot find the file specified.

.. so i didn't run the scan and basically am asking for help.

Thank you
Noble

You're running Windows 64bit and some of the tools we use won't work with 64bit.

Please download Dr.Web CureIt . Save it to your desktop:
  • Doubleclick the drweb-cureit.exe file and click Scan to run express scan. Click OK in the pop-up window to allow the scan.
  • This will scan the files currently running in memory and if something is found, click the Yes button when it asks you if you want to cure it. This is only a short scan.
  • Once the short scan has finished, select Complete scan.
  • Click the green arrow [external image: Posted Image] at the right, and the scan will start.
  • Click Yes to all if it asks if you want to cure/move the file.
  • When the scan has finished, in the menu, click File and choose Save report list
  • Save the report to your desktop. The report will be called DrWeb.csv
  • Note:this report may need to be renamed to Dr.Web.txt in order to post it on the forum.
  • Please post the Dr.Web.txt report in your next reply
  • Close Dr.Web Cureit.
Reboot your computer because it could be possible that files in use will be moved/deleted during reboot.
NOTE. During the scan, pop-up window will open asking for full version purchase. Simply close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right corner.
Hi Thank you for your reply :) I downloaded Dr.Web CureIt, clicked it twice, waited 1 min .. nothing happened ran it as a admin .. nothing happened, the cursor buffered for a few seconds then nothing strange …. :( and I have been getting 2 new pop-ups every time i start windows: 1st popup I click OK 2nd popup I click NO
Erunt related issue arises when program has been run without elevated privileges. In Vista, you have to run Erunt by right clicking its .exe file and select 'run as administrator' or uninstall it.
hi well after 1 hour the program just magically opened, i have been running it for the past 7 hours… it has finished and found 0 of anything. sorry i couldn't save the log (it was grayed out) though i did take a screen shot
okay …. ummm wth its working better  the 2 pop-ups are gone … I'm still afraid for the game .. but things are working a bit smoother .. lol what did we do ??? everything came out zeroes
ummm k i restarted the computer again, and i got those 2 pop-ups at the start of the computer again … :( and i did the MBMA scan a week ago when it caught those files, and after i was still getting the problems.
umm k uninstalled it didn't get the popups this time :D i have another issue, my programs and features list only have 10 programs on it .. but other than that everything is working pretty well thx
