[Resolved] PROXY-X TROJAN , very unstably laptop

Hello,



My laptop has become very unstable this last week, It seems to coincide with me trying to copy some things to a DVD.
Ive since stopped trying to copy anything to DVD.

using a program called ADVANCED SYSTEM CARE, I have found this

NeroCheck.exe Added by the PROXY-X TROJAN! Note - this is not related to "Nero Burning Rom" CD writing software



When I open my regular programs they freeze for about a minute, and the mouse icon displays the busy whirling blue icon ,

my programs temporarily freeze for a few minutes the windows "PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING " message displays across the
top bar, usually for 2-3 minutes , then they usually work.

This same temporary freeze happens when I exit these programs also.

Some times my laptop recovers all by its self, othertimes ,
I have to do system restores and startups in safe mode until the Laptop works normally , which happend whilst working through
the WHATTHETECH " are you infected " section ,

My system crashes whilst performing GMER Rootkit Scanner .ve tried thrice now, and once in safemode.It crashed my laptop every time.

I cant perform that scan, SO ive had to miss it out. And Ive had multiple freezes and crashes.
whilst trying write this report , If you are reading this, it means Ive managed to eventally post.And thinks seem more stable right now.
