Your logs are clean, we just need to do some housekeeping now.

Please do the following:

Visit ADOBEand download the latest version of Acrobat Reader (version 9.3)
Having the latest updates ensures there are no security vulnerabilities in your system.



NEXT


Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder.
  • Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions
  • Accept any prompts.
  • Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
  • Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button.
  • Scroll down to the Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) option.
  • Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.(version 6, update 17)

Follow these steps to uninstall Combofix

  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /uninstall in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the ..X and the /U, it needs to be there.

    • Next Click OK, then Apply button and then OK to exit the Internet Properties page.

  • ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT) allows you to keep a complete backup of your registry and restore it when needed. The standard registry backup options that come with Windows back up most of the registry but not all of it. ERUNT however creates a complete backup set, including the Security hive and user related sections. ERUNT is easy to use and since it creates a full backup, there are no options or choices other than to select the location of the backup files. The backup set includes a small executable that will launch the registry restore if needed.

Got as far as the ComboFix /Uninstall,but it said cannot find ComboFix?So I went ahead and tried the otc but nothing happened it said it needed to restart but it never did so I'm not sure if that did any good or not…

Hi, re boot the machine yourself download a fresh copy of combofix then put the full path into the run box "c:\documents and settings\Bill\Desktop\ComboFix.exe" /uninstall
