yeh well title didnt really fit it all in then =\.. well sorry about that.. what its meant to say is my computer randomly goes to sleep, and then i turn it back on and it goes to a blue screen with all these words on it.. for some strange reason my computer randomly like goes in sleep mode or something?? then i turn it back on.. and then it goes resuming windows.. then it goes to a blue screen sayin all this stuff liek corrupt.. seriuos error.. culdnt read it all coz it onli lasts for like 4 seconds then it restarts my computer again.. any help?? im on vista btw. desktop computer, and its a new computer ive onli had for like 3 or so months now oh and if it might help.. i think i dled the virus somehow.. coz i was being stupid and lookin for cheats for some game and downloaded something called.. wisemen's generator.exe =\.. then like after that 30mins or 45 mins later my comp just restarts then the blue screen started popping up then.. but i put in my vista cd and use the repair button.. but like.. for some reason i think the virus still on my computer because randomly my computer goes in sleep mode.. like i said above. and follows through with a blue screen. but then after that it works fine but still. i wanna know how to get rid of it coz it gets annoyin =\
I recently had a slim-line machine having a similar… "going to sleep" and then failing symptom.
The problem with that machine, was that the internal fans though running, were not adequate.
The machine ran just fine with the case open, but their just isn't much room for good circulation inside of slim-line.

Your problem is probably related to virus infection, for which you should seek assistance in Infection Removal.

To help get more information, turn off your machine's auto-restart, so that you can have time to read the blue-screen information.

Here's how to turn off auto-restart: (you can turn it back on after you are finished with this repair by reversing the same steps)

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System
2. Go to Advanced
3. Under the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings
4. Under System Failure un-check "Automatically restart"


Reboot and “write down with paper and pencil the exact “full” error message you may be receiving if you experience a Blue Screen Error or Stop Message
