I am running XP Professional with IE 6.0. Whenever I run a search result in yahoo and click one of the result links I get redirected to a spam site. I then have to click back and then click the link again. I have to do this 3 times before I can get to the site I wanted. I have also noticed the spam sites in my history folder with the word 'result' in it. I ran a virus scanner and have deleted all temporary history files and cookies. I have also run hijack this. The results are below, let me know. Please help!! Thanks. Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\Ati2evxx.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\aswUpdSv.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashServ.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\Program Files\802.11 Wireless LAN\802.11g Pen Size Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter HW.32 V1.10\SiSWLSvc.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Dual-Band Wireless A+G Notebook Adapter\WLService.exe C:\Program Files\Dual-Band Wireless A+G Notebook Adapter\WPC55AGV2.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashDisp.exe C:\Program Files\Messenger\MSMSGS.EXE C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy.exe C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus G Wireless Adapter Utility\AirPlus.exe C:\Program Files\802.11 Wireless LAN\802.11g Pen Size Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter HW.32 V1.10\WlanCU.exe C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashWebSv.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O2 - BHO: AcroIEHlprObj Class - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AVG7_CC] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgcc.exe /STARTUP O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AVG7_EMC] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgemc.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdateManager] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sonic\Update Manager\sgtray.exe" /r O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [avast!] C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashDisp.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\MSMSGS.EXE" /background O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MsnMsgr] "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /background O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ctfmon.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'LOCAL SERVICE') O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'NETWORK SERVICE') O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-18\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'SYSTEM') O4 - HKUS\.DEFAULT\..\Run: [AVG7_Run] C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgw.exe /RUNONCE (User 'Default user') O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe O4 - Global Startup: D-Link AirPlus G Wireless Utility.lnk = ?
