It's possible to get an over-pressure and cause some damage with air pressure.
I use the empty plastic case of a BIC pen instead of a nozel and I throttle back my air compressor when using it to clean inside of cases.
Saw this in another post you responded to, was not sure to ask this question in that post or not, but I would have never thought compressed air could do any damage to a pc. What pressure are you using with the bic pen to be on the safe side? BTW the bic pen is a great idea
Compressed air can certainly cause problems.
Probably the most commonly mentioned is to guard against "over-spinning" of case, CPU, and GPU fans.
Over spinning can damage the bearings.
When using air pressure to clean your fans, use the eraser end of a wooden pencil to gently hold the fan blades from turning.
Clean the fan while it is held stationary in that manner.
Strong pressure has been know to blow out jumper pins and dislodge other connectors.
It is also important to consider what material your nozzle is made of.
Most air-pressure hose nozzles are made of Brass, which can cause physical damage to plastic and other component when clunked against parts inside of the case.
The reason that I selected the tube of a Bic pen was to avoid metal and to focus the "light" air pressure that I use.
You should be good keeping your regulator under 20 psi.
Hope this helps.
