Pretty sure I ended up with Trojan.DNSchanger on my home pc. Tried malwarebytes, SAS, Vipre, Avast, and everything else I could think of. Had to delete a few results manually from within the recycler directory, but even though every scan is finally showing clean every reboot all my DNS info ends up being wiped. I'll assume thats a pretty sure sign something is still lurking aboutm though I honestly don't know what or where anymore.

hi Verkadh,

Is your web browsing getting re-directed to other pages? You can update your antivirus and anti-malware ok? You can get to Windows Update ok, as a example?

go to start.run and type in cmd
click ok
at the _ copy/paste whats below and click ok

ipconfig /all > C:\results.txt

it will put a results.txt file @ C:
please post the results in your reply

If you do not use a router to connect to the internet then you can delete your ip address in the text file
and also the ethernet controller physical address. Notice below i have used xyz for mine
Not a good idea to post a ip address or a MAC address in a public forum

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : xyz
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
