We'll need to have information about your system (the computer) and operating system (Windows, XP, Vista, etc)

If you are running Windows XP you can use Everest 2.20 to gather all the information you/we will need

download here"
Download Everest 2.20 here for free: http://majorgeeks.co...wnload4181.html

Run Everest 2.20 then....

Unfortunately you need a different graphics card if that error holds.

You could also try this scan: Can You Run It?

Do you know the make and model of your computer and or graphics device?

If not you can try Belarc.

As noted your current graphics device cannot run WOW.

You can try to find your exact model of Presario 5000 via this:

http://h10025.www1.h...p;product=89327

Assuming desktop. Laptop models here:

http://h10025.www1.h...;product=212728

If it is a desktop you can probably upgrade the graphics card with a new one for less than $50 USD.

No problem. If you want to find your exact Compaq model we could help you track down a workable card if you wish.

Just as a followup before you get a card you need to know the interface of your motherboard which is why I was seeking the exact Compaq model. I would guess AGP 4x but that is just a guess until we can pull down the specs of the model. This interface will be required in order to find a compatible graphics card.

You #'s are still showing over 300 possibilities at Compaq.

Did you try their Automatic scanner?
