Okay, I've ran Malicious Software remover, and also Malwarebytes on my Infected Virut32 computer…Now after several Malwarebytes and Superantispyware scans, and also AVG, the "Virut" virus seems to have gone.

You guys said they can't completely go away, but is my case successful? I'll post my hijack this log and can someone please tell me how is my computer going? ANy more virus? Is Virutwin32 still here? Thanks..

looks like you are running a cracked version of malwarebytes. Is case you dont know: cracks like keygens, patches etc often carry malware payloads including Virut32, trojan downloaders etc. I chose not to help you.
I am running a cracked? But I just downloaded it off the Malwarebytes site! I didn't know…so what do I do to get a normal version of it? Please? All i need to know is it my computer is alright…
In the About tab, there is no ID number…it's just Malwarebytes Anti Malware v.1.36 and then 2 buttons linking to the site an d"Help".
ok. I dont see any malware in the hjt log. your best bet is to rely on MBAM, SAS and AVG. If they are coming up clean after a scan then thats good. as far as virut32 goes i cant tell from the hjt log or any log if its gone. It attaches itself to .exe and .scr files. you have loads of .exe files on your machine. You could do a online scan for another opinion:

ESET online scanner:

http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

uses Internet Explorer only
check "YES" to accept terms
click start button
allow the ActiveX component to install
click the start button. the Scanner will update.
check both "Remove found threats" and "Scan unwanted applications"
click scan
when done you can find the scan log at:C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
My Internet Explorer is in the "No add-ons" properties after installing Mozilla a few days ago… I can't go to the scan! I can't seen to enable add-ons though..what should I do? Thanks…

My Internet Explorer is in the "No add-ons"

I dont know what that is. You mean you cant install activeX controls?
it must have been something you changed right?
are you prompted to install a ActiveX control when you accept the 'terms of use'
The computer crashed, took a week to fix it, sorry, but the program deleted my EXPLORER.EXE. The results are Win32 Virut is found.
well i have more bad news. if you do have Win32 Virut, its recommended that you reformat your HD and reinstall windows. the virus attaches it self to all your .exe and .scr files. And you have many many exe files on your machine, The virus can also spread to other machines via usb drives. Attempting to clean the virus could also leave behind a damaged .exe setting you up for problems later. Virus also may attempt to establish communications with a IRC server.

some links for you:

http://www.avast.com/eng/win32-virut.html

http://community.ca.com/blogs/securityadvi…-the-loose.aspx

some advice from MS themselves:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc512587.aspx
I use an external hard drive, I store pictures/documents and music, no EXE files or programmes. Will these be damaged? The files? and if a USB is infected, how do i clean it out? is it possible?

Will these be damaged? The files

As far as I know the virus affects .exe and .scr extensions only. there are variations of the virus. I coudnt tell you with 100% assurance that other files could not be affected. Since some malware can spread via usb drives i would insert the drive then scan it with any Av and antimalware or simply reformat it, then i would also scan the host computer it was plugged into. And disable the autorun option. I will find some good links.
